October Coaching Sale

Hi friend,
Upon hearing about what I do for work, people often ask me if I work with kids or teenagers, and I always give them the same answer:
“I would love to work with kids/teens, but my services tend to be too expensive.”
In my experience, parents are often desperate for effective solutions and support for their kids and teens who are struggling with body dysmorphia, disordered relationships to food and exercise, gender dysphoria, and low self-worth.
And I know that I can help these kids; that in many ways my work is most needed by young people.
After all, wouldn’t it be better to help people before their insecurities and issues spiral, bloom, and solidify in adulthood? Before they spend years (or decades) developing and continuously affirming a self-concept rooted in shame, pain, fear, and self-rejection? Before their negative feelings about themselves and their bodies have the opportunity to hijack their big life decisions, relationships, opportunities, confidence, health, or ability to trust their intuition?
The answer, of course, is yes.
Unfortunately, however, insurance doesn’t tend to cover private coaching like it does other services (ie: therapy), so it’s often not a practical or accessible option for the people who would benefit from it the most.
The other night at a party I had this familiar conversation with a woman who told me how badly her daughters’ generation needed my work, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it after.

I am a professional, and a business owner, and like everyone else I need to make money for my services. I pride myself on the results I help my clients get through coaching with me, and I know what I offer is unique, powerful, and often significantly more effective than a lot of what’s out there when it comes to body neutrality. (I mean, I literally wrote the book on it!)
For the sake of helping my clients set realistic expectations (and avoid feelings of shame or failure down the line), you will never catch me positioning my work as any kind of “miracle cure.”
But I will tell you with confidence that the unique methods and techniques I’ve developed in my coaching practice work— and not just to improve people’s relationship with food, exercise, or their body (although that), but also to help them develop a completely different sense of themselves as a person.
As my clients strip away the moral judgment, meaning, and oppressive social conditioning they’ve learned about how they look, they’re able to finally focus on (and heal) what’s underneath…. the deeper fear, pain, shame, and attachment wounding that their body image issues have been masking, and the deeper truths they’ve learned to reject, disavow, hide, or repress to survive.
This deeper level is where the real transformative work happens in coaching, and where my clients learn to listen to, accept, and trust themselves.

It’s why my clients so often tell me that our work together helped them feel more empowered, authentic, liberated, confident, worthy, and—perhaps most importantly—safe:
Safe to feel their feelings, and speak their truth.
Safe to advocate for themselves, set boundaries, and take up space.
Safe to step into their wholeness, their worthiness, and their power.
My conversation the other night was a reminder that if anyone needs this kind of transformation, it’s the very people for whom it’s the least accessible financially. Children and teens, yes. But also queer and transgender people, immigrants, people of color, fat and disabled folks, neurodivergent folks, and stay at home or single moms.
Due to systemic oppression, these populations are more vulnerable to disrespect, disempowerment, gaslighting, shame, violence, and coercive control. In other words, they’re exactly who I most want to help… but they’re also less likely to have the disposable income to get the support they need (and deserve).
Given the world we’re currently living in, and the fact that our most vulnerable populations are literally under attack right now, it feels appalling to me that money is standing in the way of people accessing this work.
So because I have some coaching spots opening up in October, I’ve decided to create some lower-cost opportunities for working together—read on to learn more!
I’m putting my private coaching services on sale.
If you’ve been thinking about working with me but my normal rates are outside your budget, I’m offering the following coaching packages for a steep discount in October, for new clients only:
One month of Voxer-only coaching: $350. (Normally
$600.)One month of coaching calls (4 sessions): $700. (Normally
$1,200)One month of coaching calls (2 sessions) + Voxer support: $700. (Normally
$1,100.)
I’ll only be taking three people at this discounted rate, so be sure to hit reply and let me know if you’re interested now, to take advantage of this sale!
Also, if you take one of these spots in October, you will be “locked in” at this discounted rate for up to three months, so if you decide you want to keep going with coaching you can!
That said, I am very well aware that these numbers are still significant, and the cost may still be too high even at a discount. So depending on your situation, the following options might be a better fit for you! →
I’m offering a few Pay-What-You-Can Coaching Spots!
If you have a child/teen who you think would benefit from coaching with me, this offer is for you!
Same goes if you (or someone you know) is marginalized in any of the ways I mentioned before, unable to afford coaching, and in need of this kind of support.
If you feel like I’m the right person to support you (or them) and money is the only barrier, please consider applying for pay-what-you-can coaching.
Spots for this will be limited as well (so I can’t guarantee anyone a spot), but if you’re interested just hit reply and tell me a little about yourself and what you’re looking for help with, as well as an amount that would fit it your budget per month, and we’ll talk about the options!
If you can pull together a group (5 or more), I’ll do group coaching at a discount!
If you know a handful of people who would be interested in doing this kind of work together, I would be happy to put together a coaching group where we can unpack oppressive conditioning around relevant topics, address individual issues, and make sure everyone gets the tools, support, and connection they need to thrive.
Depending on how many people are in the group (as well as everyone’s schedules, preferences, and budget), this could look a lot of different ways, but my goal will be to find a structure/rate that works for everyone. So if you think you might know enough people, go ahead and hit reply to let me know, and we’ll figure it out from there!
Note: Though not absolutely required, group members should ideally either share somewhat of a common goal/interest/experience, or have something else in common in terms of their lived experience or identity.
For example:
If everyone in your “mommy book club” struggles with the relentless pressure to be/look perfect, all your runner friends are trying to improve their relationship to food, or your queer/sapphic friends are always talking about how to decenter men and embrace their truth.
If you know a bunch of kids/teens who would benefit from dismantling diet culture/beauty ideals and learning to feel more empowered/confident.
Also, if you’re not sure you could get enough people (or if the group would make sense together) feel free to hit reply and ask, or tell me what you’re thinking! Sometimes I can pull people together who don’t know each other, so it’s worth reaching out either way. :-)
Ooookay, that’s everything for today! I’ll probably remind you of these offers again over the next few weeks if spots don’t fill up before then.
In the meantime, please feel free to reach out or forward this email to someone you know who might be able to take advantage of it!
We must have each other’s backs right now.
Big hug,
Jessi
