It’s possible that I’m biased of course, but I legit think this album is amazing; I’ve been listening to it non-stop since it came out last week! It reminds me a bit of Sufjan Stevens, Postal Service, or early Death Cab For Cutie, and if you’re into Fleet Foxes, Grizzly Bear, or Glass Animals, I think you’ll love it. If you dig that kind of music, I highly recommend checking out Friendshapes on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube, or wherever you get your music. Also I’m dying to know what other people think, so feel free to hit reply to share your thoughts after!!

  • Speaking of my podcast, I have a question for you!

This Is (Not) About Your Body

I started my podcast by making solo episodes in 2021. It was just me and my microphone, exploring topics that impact our relationship with our bodies and ourselves in 20-30 minute episodes. I loved making these kinds of episodes, because they gave me a way of consistently translating my private work as a coach to a public (and free) forum. Whenever something important came up during a coaching session with a client, or someone asked me an interesting question, I could just sit down and share it with the world.

In case you’re curious, there are 60+ solo episodes published, but here are a few of my favorites:

At the beginning of 2023 however, I decided to switch up the podcast format, and start interviewing guests with interesting backgrounds, stories, and areas of expertise. I did this for two reasons – first because I knew how valuable it would be for my listeners, and second because interesting conversations are my love language. Connecting with new people and exploring new ideas (or old ideas in a new way) for the last year has been an absolute pleasure for me, and my guests have offered countless life-changing insights, connections, and perspective shifts to my listeners.

There are 40+ of these episodes for you to explore, but here are a few of the most popular ones:

Now for my question!

As 2024 gets closer, I’ve been thinking about how I want to structure This Is (Not) About Your Body for Season 3, and I’d love your feedback.

  • Which format do you like better: solo or interviews?

  • Which episodes have been most helpful or interesting for you so far?

  • Are there any questions, topics, or guests you’d like to see me include in 2024?

  • Other ideas for how to make the show better or more valuable?

Hit reply and share your thoughts!!

  • How can I help you?

  • Lately I’ve been wanting to dive into a new project, and maybe create a new course or group program. I have so many ideas for what this could look like, because there are about a million ways to explore, heal, and improve one’s relationship with themself and their body, and I’m passionate about most of them! So before I commit to anything, I wanted to directly ask you what you need, and how I can best support you right now. If you’re willing, I would be very grateful to hear your answer to any/all of the following questions:

    • What do you most desire or crave right now?

    • What have you been struggling with lately? What’s felt hard, painful, or frustrating

    • How is your mental health, and what would feel supportive?

    • What are your current goals and priorities?

    • What do you actually feel available for right now, emotionally, energetically, and financially? (What would be helpful without overwhelming you?)

    • What kind of coaching program, content, or course would feel nourishing to you right now? What would you immediately sign up for, if it fit your budget?

    • Anything else you want to share?

Seriously. Hit reply and let me know.

That’s it for today – thank you for being here, and for being you.
