#AskJessiKneeland: What Does Loving Your Body Actually Look/Feel Like?

Have you ever asked yourself “What’s the end goal of working on Body Image issues?” or “what would life actually be like if I didn’t stress about or hate my body anymore?”

Being free from body image issues means that the self-critical voices about your appearance/body no longer hold power over you.

It’s not that the voices necessarily go away, exactly. It’s certainly not like you’ll never have any negative thoughts about your body ever again.

It’s more like the power of those thoughts fades, while the power of other (positive, self-loving) thoughts increases. That happens when you separate your appearance from your worth, and start cultivating a sense of worthiness that comes from somewhere else.
